Our Media Releases
Despite COVID-19, we have been working to offer our programs virtually to continue engaging volunteers in the community!
Our Valuable Volunteer Program has reopened so that we can continue helping individuals overcome barriers to volunteering so they can get involved. Our Youth Engagement Council continued their meetings through Zoom to work on initiatives to get youth more engaged and interested in volunteering, and ended their term by launching an Instagram competition sponsored by various organizations in Sudbury. Finally, our COVID-Virtual Activity Pod volunteers have been doing a lot to help the community, collecting donations for the Walden Food Bank and winter wear for schools, and writing thank-you cards for first responders.
