Meet our Board of Directors

We have a dedicated board with vast and varied experience, all with a passion for volunteering.

Jessi Campbell

Jessi has been a Board Member for several years with Volunteer Sudbury. She is a mom of two, and has lived in Sudbury for 7 years. Working in the non-profit sector for 5 years, she recently made the switch to Health and Safety. Jessi believes that providing volunteers with positive and rewarding opportunities is extremely important, and helps to ensure that Volunteer Sudbury aids in creating that atmosphere with our member organizations.

Mary Michasiw

Mary has been an active part of Volunteer Sudbury for over 14 years. A former teacher, she witnessed various learning curves, challenges, and changes as she provided a voice on the board. Mary sees Volunteer Sudbury as a valuable resource in the community, and has enjoyed being in the community as a Board Director in the City's Civic Award Selection, Senior's Advisory Panel, and more.  It is important for her to do whatever she can to make the city a better place for everyone!

Doug Strasser

Smart, sexy, modest — all words often used to describe this board member. But, there's only one word that truly sums him up... and that's volunteer. A Sudbury native and perpetual brainstormer, Doug is thrilled to be a part of Volunteer Sudbury! A background in finance and education, he currently finds himself as a financial analyst for the European fin-tech TransferWise. Doug is excited to be bringing his skills and fresh ideas to Volunteer Sudbury, driving organizational growth and better community engagement.
